Farmhouse?
Hey guys!
For those of you following I want to thank you all♡ some times I wonder if anyone is out there!
So for those of you that don't already know I've moved to a new and improved home, back in my hometown Billerica Ma! And boy do I LOVE my new space! We are ready to paint the living room and kitchen next Sunday! I'm so excited to hang all my cute decorations, signs and such!
I finally chose my colors! In my Kitchen I'm using Linen White by Benjamin Moore
In my Living room I'm using Classic Gray, also by Benjamin Moore!
I am BEYOND excited to see these colors on the walls!
I've also picked out colors for the girls rooms and my room, but I'll save those for another day!
I keep thinking to my self "I want farmhouse!" But do I? Some of the things I LOVE from the "farmhouse" theme, then some of the things I see I feel are too "farmy" if you will. So let's just say I'm going to put my own twist on this whole farmhouse thing.
Interior decorating is definitely not my thing, I wish it was, and sometimes I think it is, but for some reason my mind doesn't work that way. I'm still learning! I've been following different blogs and designers to try to find my style, but I tend to like a lot of different things, they call that eclectic I guess:).
Here are a couple interior designer accounts I follow on the gram!
@thefadedfarmhouse
@willshire_collections
@baileyhomedesigns
Just to name a few!
Have you guys ever been to Hobby Lobby? Dead. If you haven't.. GO.. so many cute things. I have not made my run yet, I'm trying SO hard to wait until everything is painted! I need knobs for my cabinets,
literally like 10 draw knobs and 21 cabinet knobs. Ha hopefully I can find all matching!
Another place I have been picking up some gems is Burlington. Wow. I could spend all day there!
I got this really cute piece there!
I put the faux cactus inside myself, from Michael's of course!
Some of my favorite pieces are home made ones! I absolutely love the look of something original and especially when it's done from the heart!
Check out these trays!
My brother Zack made this! How talented is he?
My Mom @ginasgoodvibes made this with her Cricket Stencils and Chalk Couture! She can customize cups, shirts, signs, almost anything!
Of course these are just a few of the things I have for my new home! But let me show you my all time favorite part of of moving to this space.
My kitchen table. This table is so much more than Just a table to me. It's a place where my family can gather and make new memories, new traditions, laugh, cry, and enjoy each others company. I am so blessed to have the space for such a beautiful thing. I can't wait to put this sucker to good use!
If you ever have the opportunity to go to Manzel Furniture in Peabody Ma, I HIGHLY recommend it. This store is so different. Everything is handmade, solid wood, from India. Since styles do change, you are able to sand and restain if ever necessary.. However I believe that most of their neutral tones are timeless!
Stay tuned for the paint job!
