So what about if your not traveling?
There are still some really great places in the Boston area to visit!
But first.
Coffee.
Perfecto's in Reading Ma, is my new found favorite coffee house. They have freshly brewed flavors which is the #1 thing I look for in a coffee shop. The best flavor in my opinion is the Route 28 Special, it's a blend of Gingerbread, Hazelnut, and Vanilla (dont quote me, there might be more to it). Whatever it is it's DELICIOUS!! You have to try it!! They have hearty breakfast sandwiches and scrumcious pastries. Its so cute inside, a great place for coffee talk!
Food & Drink.
The North End is by far my favorite place to enjoy some good eats! You literally CAN NOT go wrong! In the Spring and summer I always make it to Fiori's roof top, the food is off the charts, & their sangria is to-die-for!
Don't forget to save room for dessert! When your in the North End of Boston you MUST stop into Modern Pastry OR Mike's Pastry
There is a historical rivalry between these two famous Italian bakeries, but they are both out of this world!
Have ah conoli!
Another MUST when your in or near Boston is Assembly Row in Somerville, Ma. There is so much to do there! It's right on the Mystic Valley River which makes for a breathtaking view. Great place for date night, or lunch with the girls, great for family fun too! There is a brand new AMC movie theater with reclining seats :). Next door is a Lego land discovery center great for cold or rainy days with the kiddos!
Our go-to eatary in Assembly Row is Legals on the Mystic. Here you can find a variety of some of the freshest seafood dishes, if you have a hankering for the famous New England clam chowdah, this is the place to go!
Shopping!
My favorite store at Assembly is Converse :) they always have great deals! Like buy one get one 75% ?!?! Dangerous!! The other stores I make sure I pop into are Francesca's, Steve Madden, and Nike. I always walk out with something!
These are just a few of my favs around where I live! I still have so much to explore!!
It amazing what we can find in our own backyard!!
